Google’s AI-powered Search Generative Experience (SGE) is introducing a new feature that allows users to summarize articles they are reading on the web. The feature, called “SGE while browsing,” is part of Google’s opt-in Search Labs program and will be available on the Google app for Android and iOS, with plans to expand to the Chrome browser. After tapping an icon at the bottom of the screen, AI-generated “key points” from the article will be presented to the user. Additionally, Google is adding improvements such as hover-over definitions for certain words and easier understanding of coding information.
