Final Fantasy VII: Ever Crisis, a mobile game expanding the FFVII story, will launch on iOS and Android on September 7th. The game retells iconic moments from the original FFVII while incorporating backstory from Final Fantasy VII The First Soldier. Developed by Applibot, the game features an art style reminiscent of the original game’s chibi characters with added details like Cloud having actual hands. Gameplay is based on the original’s Active Time Battle system, optimized for mobile. The game will be free-to-play, but players may need to spend money on “gacha” to acquire weapons and other items. Pre-registration for the game is now open.
