Disney announced that it will increase the prices of its ad-free Disney+ and Hulu streaming services starting October 12. The ad-free Disney+ plan will be $13.99 per month, up from $10.99, while the ad-free Hulu plan will be $17.99 per month, up from $14.99. Disney also revealed plans to offer a bundle of Hulu and Disney+ for $19.99 per month, a $12 discount from separate pricing. The company will implement measures to prevent password sharing starting in 2024. The price increases and password sharing crackdown follow a $512 million loss for Disney’s streaming division in Q3 of 2023.
