Tel Aviv-based startup Configu has raised $3m in a pre-seed funding round led by Cardumen Capital. The open-source company aims to simplify the management of configuration files for applications. Configu allows developers to store and orchestrate configuration data across environments and systems, integrating it with test frameworks and automating workflows. The company offers a managed cloud version for enterprise use, with premium service, single-sign support, role-based access and SOC2 compliance, alongside a free community version. Configu was co-founded by Peleg Porat, who previously worked at McAffee and F5 Networks, and Ran Cohen, previously an engineer at startups Backand and Testim.io.
