Apple and Nokia have signed a new long-term patent license agreement, extending their previous deal set to expire in 2023. The terms of the agreement and financial details have not been disclosed. Nokia, which owns over 20,000 patents including 5,500 related to 5G technology, offers its patents under fair, reasonable, and non-discriminatory terms. This agreement comes as a resolution to a legal dispute that began in 2017. The revenues from this deal will be reflected in Nokia’s Q1 2024 earnings.
