Apple has released the sixth beta of tvOS 17 to developers, following the introduction of the fifth beta two weeks ago. This update brings FaceTime to the Apple TV for the first time, allowing the device to connect to an iPhone or iPad for video calling. Other features include gesture-based reactions, Split View for watching TV with others, revamped Control Center, and support for third-party VPN apps. The update also includes new aerial screen savers and Dolby Vision 8.1 on compatible devices. Overall, tvOS updates are not as feature-rich as iOS and macOS updates.
