Virgin Galactic has announced that its first commercial spaceflight, Galactic 01, will launch on June 29th. The mission will carry three people from Italy’s Air Force and National Research Council who will conduct microgravity research. Following this, Galactic 02 is scheduled for an early August launch with a private crew. Virgin plans to fly on a monthly basis after these initial flights. The company has faced delays and incidents in the past, but this launch marks an important milestone for Virgin’s business.
