Thai customs officials have seized 8.4 tons of smuggled durian suspected to be from Cambodia, worth approximately 1.17 million baht. The durians were discovered in a 6-wheeler truck that was stopped for inspection in Wang Sombun district, Sa Kaeo province. The truck driver was unable to provide any documentation proving the origin of the fruits. The driver is expected to face charges along with the confiscated durians.
