Blizzard’s Battle.net online service was hit by a DDoS attack over the weekend, affecting the ability to play games like Diablo IV and World of Warcraft. The attack caused high latency and disconnections for players, with some unable to play for around 10 to 12 hours. The incident has led to renewed calls for Blizzard to add an offline mode to Diablo IV. Blizzard later confirmed that the DDoS attacks had ended and advised affected players to follow troubleshooting advice on their website.
