This summer, DreamWorks Animation is releasing the highly anticipated film “Ruby Gillman, Teenage Kraken.” The movie follows Ruby Gillman, a shy teenager who discovers she is the descendant of warrior Kraken queens and is next in line for the throne. Directed by Kirk DeMicco and featuring a star-studded cast including Lana Condor, Toni Collette, Annie Murphy, Colman Domingo, and Jane Fonda, the film is set to premiere in the United States on June 30, 2023. It will be available for streaming on Peacock and Netflix as part of a new windowing strategy by NBCUniversal.
