Tim Burton, the renowned filmmaker behind movies like The Batman, Edward Scissorhands, and Beetlejuice, will be honored with the first Tim Burton Visionary Award at the Burbank International Film Festival. The award, which recognizes local filmmakers with unique creativity and imagination, will be presented during the festival’s awards gala on September 24th, which has been declared “Tim Burton Day” by the Burbank City Council.
