In Season 3, Episode 4 of The Witcher, titled “The Invitation,” Geralt and Ciri head to Aretuza and encounter a monster on their journey. Ciri impresses Geralt with her fighting skills and they discuss the villain behind Rience’s actions. Meanwhile, Yennefer tries to convince the Brotherhood of Sorcerers to hold a Conclave to unite against Nilfgaard. She goes to Redania to deliver an invitation personally and encounters King Vizimir. However, when she jumps back through a portal, she ends up in a distant location where Geralt finds her. The episode ends with all the main characters gathering in Aretuza, setting the stage for a major fight. Additionally, Cahir receives a mysterious mission from the Emperor involving Francesca and an invitation similar to the one for the Conclave.
