Illumination Entertainment has unveiled that Fox McCloud, the ace pilot from the Star Fox series, will be featured in the upcoming animated film, The Super Mario Galaxy Movie, voiced by Glen Powell. This marks a significant integration of another iconic Nintendo character, mirroring Donkey Kong’s impactful role in The Super Mario Bros. Movie. Fox’s inclusion could revitalize the Star Fox franchise, which has seen little activity recently. Similarly to how Donkey Kong’s presence spurred new media opportunities, Fox’s appearance might signal potential expansions or a standalone movie for the Star Fox team.
