His earlier work in Kick-Ass (2010) remains his most successful superhero venture, grossing nearly $100 million on a $28 million budget and receiving a certified fresh rating from critics for its unique style and humor. Kick-Ass faced criticism for its extreme violence, especially involving young characters. The film will be available for streaming on Plex this April.
