Despite the buzz surrounding Paul Thomas Anderson and Ryan Coogler’s films, Frankenstein garnered notable acclaim for its technical achievements. Meanwhile, the much-maligned 2014 film I, Frankenstein, directed by Stuart Beattie, scored only 5% on Rotten Tomatoes but has since gained a cult following for its unique blend of action and horror.
