Shakeup at Freeform as original series “Single Drunk Female” and “The Watchful Eye” have been canceled. “Single Drunk Female” follows a 20-something alcoholic named Sam as she tries to turn her life around. Despite praise for its writing and humor, the series will not be renewed for a third season. “The Watchful Eye” is a Hitchcockian thriller about a live-in nanny in an apartment building full of dark secrets. Both shows can be watched on Hulu. Freeform will soon lose “Grown-ish” but will welcome new animated comedy “Praise Petey” in July.
