America’s favorite plush toys, Beanie Babies, are getting their own movie called “The Beanie Bubble,” starring Zach Galifianakis. The film is based on the book “The Great Beanie Baby Bubble: Mass Delusion and the Dark Side of Cute” and focuses on Ty Warner, the eccentric businessman behind the Beanie Babies craze. It also sheds light on the role of women in the phenomenon. The movie will stream on Apple TV+ starting July 28, 2023, and will premiere in select theaters on July 21, 2023. Other notable cast members include Elizabeth Banks, Sarah Snook, and Geraldine Viswanathan.
