Following a police investigation, it was determined that Ritchson acted in self-defense, resulting in no criminal charges being filed. The incident gained attention when a video surfaced showing Ritchson on top of fellow neighbor Ronnie Taylor during a confrontation. Further footage revealed that Taylor instigated the altercation by physically confronting Ritchson. Brentwood Police Captain Steven Pepin confirmed the case’s closure, noting that Ritchson would not pursue charges against Taylor, who had initially reported a misleading version of events.
