Paul Bronfman, senior advisor and co-chairman of Canadian movie rental giant William F. White International, is stepping down after selling the company to the UK’s Ashtead Group in 2019. Bronfman will become chairman emeritus of the company and join former Bell Media CEO Randy Lennox as senior advisors to Pinewood Toronto Studios. Whites’ customers include major Hollywood studios and Silicon Valley players as they pivot to the TV streaming space. The move comes as Pinewood Group recently acquired full ownership of Pinewood Toronto Studios.
