The film is anticipated to become Gosling’s highest-grossing film, aided by its 95% score on Rotten Tomatoes and a strong IMAX performance. Directed by Phil Lord and Christopher Miller, Project Hail Mary is inspired by Andy Weir’s novel and has a reported budget of $200 million. It has grossed approximately $300 million globally, outperforming M. Night Shyamalan’s After Earth in just ten days.
