Ryan Gosling’s latest film, Project Hail Mary, has surpassed the global box office earnings of his 2017 film, Blade Runner 2049, and has more than doubled the earnings of his biopic, First Man. The film is anticipated to become Gosling’s highest-grossing film, aided by its 95% score on Rotten Tomatoes and a strong IMAX performance. Directed by Phil Lord and Christopher Miller, Project Hail Mary is inspired by Andy Weir’s novel and has a reported budget of $200 million. It has grossed approximately $300 million globally, outperforming M. Night Shyamalan’s After Earth in just ten days.
