ColorCreative, the management/production company co-founded by Issa Rae and Deniese Davis, has announced the first cohort for its Find Your People Program. The program provides training, resources, and mentorship to creatives from seven different filmmaking fields, forming interdisciplinary production teams to develop short films. Out of over 1,500 applicants worldwide, 28 individuals were selected and grouped into four production teams. The program includes workshops led by industry professionals, with support from brand partners such as Michael Jordan and Jordan Brand. ColorCreative will fund the production of the short films, set to screen next year.
