After nearly a decade, The X-Files is set to return, with Gillian Anderson, known for her role as Dana Scully, revealing she has read the script and found it promising. Speaking at MegaCon Orlando, Anderson praised Ryan Coogler, the reboot’s director, who has received endorsement from original creator Chris Carter. Although both Anderson and co-star David Duchovny have expressed openness to participate, no official confirmations have been made. The reboot will feature new FBI agents investigating unexplained phenomena. Coogler is set to write and direct, with a pilot currently in development for Hulu.
