Newly minted best actor Oscar winner Brendan Fraser is set to be honored as Global Actor of the Year at the Ischia Global Film & Music Festival in Italy. The festival will also present awards to filmmaker Rob Marshall and songwriter Diane Warren. The event, which will run from July 9-16, will feature screenings, masterclasses, and panel discussions. Other notable attendees include directors Bille August and Catherine Hardwicke, and actors Christopher Abbott and Tye Sheridan.
