Blue Beetle, the upcoming DC film, has been described as a “massive win for DC” and “a love letter to Latino culture” after first reactions were released. Director Angel Manuel Soto successfully incorporates Easter Eggs while maintaining continuity within the DC universe. Despite some limitations on including certain elements, Soto ensured that the film felt like a part of the greater DC universe. References to LexCorp and Gotham Law School were included. The director and James Gunn, the higher-up at DC, collaborated on the project.
