Jodie Turner-Smith, known for her role in “Queen & Slim,” has joined the cast of “Tron: Ares,” the third installment of Disney’s “Tron” series. The film will also feature Jared Leto, Greta Lee, and Evan Peters. Directed by Joachim Ronning, “Tron: Ares” will focus on the emergence of a sentient program that crosses over into the human world. Turner-Smith’s role has not been disclosed. The film is set to begin filming in August in Vancouver. Leto will play the manifestation of the program, while Lee will portray a video game programmer and tech CEO.
