The sci-fi film Aporia centers around Sophie, played by Judy Greer, who must make a difficult decision when given the chance to go back in time and save her deceased husband. The rules of time travel in the film are simple: the machine can only kill, death cannot be undone, and using the machine creates a new reality while still remembering the original one. Despite the temptation to change history, Sophie prioritizes taking care of her daughter and focusing on the legacy she wants to leave behind. Aporia premiered at the Fantasia Film Festival and will soon be released in theaters.
