James Mangold is a versatile filmmaker known for directing movies across multiple genres. He is the only director, other than Steven Spielberg, to direct an Indiana Jones movie. Some of his notable films include “The Wolverine,” which is an improvement over its predecessor, “Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny,” which may not be the best but still has enjoyable moments, and “Cop Land,” which features a stellar cast and a strong ending. Other films worth mentioning are “Heavy,” “Identity,” “Walk the Line,” “Ford v Ferrari,” “Girl, Interrupted,” “3:10 to Yuma,” and “Logan,” which is considered Mangold’s best film.
