Valentina Allegra de Fontaine, a mysterious character in Phase 4 of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, is recruiting morally complex characters for a remarkable group called the Thunderbolts. The Thunderbolts, set to appear in a film in December 2024, will bring together former villains and anti-heroes from previous films and Disney+ shows. The team’s goal is to reform villains for public perception, similar to DC’s Suicide Squad. The team’s founder, Baron Helmut Zemo, manipulated the public’s perception by recruiting villains turned heroes. The film will be directed by Jake Schrier and feature a diverse cast, including Julia Louis-Dreyfus, David Harbour, Florence Pugh, and Sebastian Stan.
