Toy maker Hasbro has appointed three former Entertainment One executives to lead its newly-launched Hasbro Entertainment content studio. Olivier Dumont will serve as President of Hasbro Entertainment, while Zev Foreman and Gabriel Marano will head film and television production, respectively. The move comes after Hasbro sold eOne to Lionsgate for approximately $500 million in order to focus on branded assets such as Peppa Pig, Transformers, and Dungeons & Dragons. Under CEO Chris Cocks, Hasbro aims to become a digital gaming powerhouse by reinvesting in fewer, more profitable properties with outside partners.
