Polish soldier and spy Witold Pilecki’s story will be brought to the big screen in a new international co-production between the US and Poland. The film, titled “Enemy Of My Enemy,” will be an epic drama based on the acclaimed book “The Volunteer” by Marco Patricelli. Pilecki volunteered for a resistance operation in World War II, infiltrating and escaping from Auschwitz. Despite his heroic actions, he was arrested by Poland’s communist government and executed in 1948. The producers are conducting extensive research and hope to shoot in Poland and Italy.
