Google Photos is introducing generative AI to its Memories view, enhancing its scrapbook montages. The AI algorithms will organize images into relevant categories and create catchy titles for the montages. Users can edit or rename collections if necessary. The update also includes a dedicated Memories view, where users can add music, share memories, and collaborate with friends and family on creating scrapbook entries. Google Photos plans to allow users to save these collections as video formats for messaging and social media apps. The update is rolling out in the United States and will have a global launch in a few months.
