CGI has become a crucial part of filmmaking, even in movies that seem to have no CGI. However, artists often go unnoticed or receive little credit, leading to their work being used to disparage the art form. Marvel Studios is one of the worst offenders, relying heavily on VFX teams and pushing them beyond reasonable limits. Proper unionization and better planning can lead to improved working conditions and better movies overall.
