In a recent crackdown on unlicensed operations, the Patong police force targeted two massage parlours suspected of exploiting underage workers. Hatha Massage and Aisha Massage were both raided due to allegations of operating without proper licensing and employing minors under 18. While some charges were filed against the proprietors for operating without permission, stronger charges related to child exploitation were not pursued. This comes after a previous raid in March that uncovered child prostitution in a Patong bar. The Patong Police have chosen not to disclose further details about these recent raids.
