Quentin Dupieux’s French satire “Yannick” has won the Europa Cinemas Label prize for best European film at the Locarno Film Festival. The dark comedy follows protagonist Yannick as he criticizes a play he finds unentertaining and takes the opportunity to rewrite the script.
