Apple’s latest beta of watchOS 10 has integrated support for the upcoming NameDrop feature, as discovered by code analyst Aaronp613. NameDrop is a new addition to Apple’s AirDrop feature, previewed in iOS 17, which allows users to easily exchange contact details by holding iPhones together. This feature also extends to Apple Watches, enabling contact sharing between an iOS 17 iPhone and an Apple Watch running watchOS 10. Apple is expected to provide more details about iOS 17 and related updates at its iPhone 15 event on September 12.
