Apple’s upcoming A17 chip for the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max will have a 6-core CPU and 6-core GPU, according to leaker Unknownz21. It will feature a 3.70GHz maximum clock rate and 6GB RAM. The chip, built on a new 3-nanometer process, will bring speed and efficiency improvements, with a 10-15% increase in performance and up to 30% reduction in power consumption compared to the A16 chip. The A17 chip will only be available in the higher-end iPhone models, while the standard iPhone 15 models will use the A16 chip. Apple is expected to unveil the new iPhones in September.
