Aquaman and The Lost Kingdom, the highly-anticipated sequel to James Wan’s Aquaman, is set to release on December 20, 2023. The film will see the return of Jason Momoa as Arthur Curry, aka Aquaman, along with Amber Heard as Mera and Yahya Abdul-Mateen II as Black Manta. The plot of the sequel is said to be more serious and relevant to the world we’re living in today, while still building on the cheesy fun of the first film. Wan has also mentioned that the film will explore the lost kingdom of Atlantis known as Necrus.
