The bodies of a man and a woman of South Korean origin were discovered in a hotel room near Surin Beach. The police suspect a double suicide by lethal injection as the cause of death. No signs of forced entry or violence were found in the room, but evidence suggests a possible drug overdose. Two letters were found, one directed at the Thai police and the other at the hotel, expressing regret and appreciation. The bodies have been taken for further investigation.
