In April, Netflix released the trailer for its adaptation of the Pulitzer Prize-winning novel “All the Light We Cannot See.” The limited series, directed by Shawn Levy and with a teleplay by Steven Knight, stars Mark Ruffalo, Hugh Laurie, Louis Hofmann, and Aria Mia Loberti. The novel, which sold over 15 million copies and won numerous awards, is a work of historical fiction set during World War II. The story is inspired by the Battle of Saint-Malo and focuses on two characters, Marie-Laure LeBlanc and Werner Pfennig. The series premieres on November 2.
