Long time, no speak: NASA has reestablished contact with the intrepid Ingenuity Mars Helicopter after more than two months of radio silence. The mini rotorcraft, which hitched a ride to Mars with the Perseverance rover, has exceeded its initial 30-day mission and has been assisting in the search for signs of ancient microbial life. Despite experiencing communication loss during its 52nd flight, which was expected due to a hill blocking the signal, Ingenuity is in good shape and will be ready for its next flight. This is not the first time the helicopter has experienced communication issues.
