Paramount Global has extended the contract of its CFO, Naveen Chopra, for another three years. Chopra, who joined the media conglomerate in 2020, will receive a base salary of $1.4 million, along with annual bonuses and equity compensation. Paramount, formerly known as ViacomCBS, has been focusing on its streaming services, with the recent launch of Paramount+ and the integration of Showtime into the platform. The company has also been selling off assets to further its entertainment ambitions. Despite these efforts, Paramount Global’s stock is down nearly 7% this year.
