Yesterday, Warner Brothers released the theatrical trailer for Dune: Part Two, confirming that director Denis Villeneuve plans to complete his Dune trilogy with an adaptation of Dune Messiah. The third installment is expected to be co-written by Villeneuve and screenwriter Jon Spaihts. While the studio has not officially announced the development of Part Three, fans can hope for the completion of the trilogy. The success of Dune: Part Two and the subsequent films will depend on their performance at the box office. Villeneuve has always wanted to bring the entire series to the big screen and this is the first official confirmation that it may happen.
