A sweet coming-of-age story called Son of a Critch will soon make its debut in the United States, telling stories from Mark Critch’s youth in an emotional and entertaining way. The CW will distribute the show for American audiences, following its success in Canada. Mark Critch himself will appear in the series portraying his own father, alongside Benjamin Evan Ainsworth as his younger self, and Claire Rankin as his mother. The show follows the wonderful family as they navigate the challenges of junior high school. The CW is also shifting its focus towards non-scripted content.
