Sing Buri: A Hidden Gem in Thailand
Nestled in central Thailand, Sing Buri is a city that is often overlooked by tourists. Yet, for those who do take the time to explore this charming town, they are rewarded with beautiful scenery, delicious street food, and friendly locals.
Scenery and Atmosphere
As I adventured throughout this city, I was enchanted by the peaceful countryside and the many temples and monuments that dotted the landscape. The city center itself was a bustling hub of activity, with markets, shops, and street vendors selling a variety of goods.
One of my favorite moments was watching the sunset over the Sing Buri River, which bisects the city. Its calming presence is a wonderful contrast to the bustling streets.
Likes and Dislikes
One of the things that I enjoyed most about Sing Buri was its affordability. For just a few dollars a day, I was able to indulge in a variety of street food and cultural experiences. However, the downside of this affordability is that some of the city’s attractions are not well-maintained or modern.
The Cost of Living
As for the cost of living, I found that I could comfortably get by on around $20-25 USD per day, including food, transportation, and lodging.
