Move Forward constituency MP for Bangkok, Sirin Sanguansin, has publicly apologized after being accused of assaulting his girlfriend. He expressed readiness to face legal consequences and disciplinary action from his party. Sirin explained that he was slow to respond to the allegations due to receiving treatment for a head injury from an accident. He claimed to have already apologized to his girlfriend and her parents. In May, another Move Forward MP-elect was found guilty of drunk driving and resigned from the party.
