The 2023 Karlovy Vary Film Festival will feature special honors for Ewan McGregor and Alicia Vikander, a career retrospective for Russell Crowe, and a concert by English band Morcheeba. Morcheeba, known for their downtempo electronic music, will perform on June 30 at the festival’s opening concert. In an interview, singer Skye Edwards discusses the band’s cinematic influences and the possibility of collaborating with Crowe. She also mentions the band’s interest in writing soundtracks for films. Additionally, Morcheeba is currently working on their 11th studio album.
