Electrify America, the company created as part of the Volkswagen diesel emission scandal settlement, has announced its plan to incorporate Tesla’s North American Charging Standard (NACS) connector into its fast charging networks in the US and Canada by 2025. Electrify America will continue to provide the Combined Charging System (CCS-1) connector as well. Other automakers such as Ford, GM, Rivian, and Volvo have also committed to adopting the NACS charging port.
