Now that production for the highly anticipated second season of Squid Game will commence later this year, Netflix has announced the remaining actors and actresses that will round out the cast for Squid Game Season 2. The announcement came after the streaming platform revealed the first cast members earlier this month.
New additions for the second season of the smash hit series are Park Gyu-young, Kang Ae-sim, Lee David, Lee Jin-uk, Roh Jae-won, Won Ji-an, Choi Seung-hyun, and Jo Yu-ri. They will join the first round of players, including Kang Ha-Neul, Yim Si-wan, Yang Dong-geun, Park Sung-hoon, Lee Byung-hun, Wi Ha-jun, and Gong Yoo.
The second season, which most likely premiere in 2024, will continue the deadly game where losing means death and only one winner takes home the cash prize. The show challenges social class dynamics and has earned international acclaim.
