Apple has released the fourth betas of iOS 16.6 and iPadOS 16.6 to public beta testers, following the release to developers. Users can access the beta by going to the Settings app, selecting General, then Software Update, and tapping on Beta Updates. This update appears to be minor, but it includes groundwork for the iMessage Contact Key Verification feature. Development on iOS 16 is slowing as Apple gears up for the launch of iOS 17 in September. Additionally, Apple has provided a new beta of watchOS 9.6 to public beta testers.
