Media literacy was a key agenda at the Asia-Media Summit 2023 in Bali, where workshops were provided to participants from the Asia-Pacific region. Philomena Gnanapragasam, Director of AIBD, emphasized the need for media people to have the relevant skills and information to promote media literacy. In addition to adding media literacy to school curricula, parents also play a vital role in creating awareness of consuming good information within the family.
